Graduated from the University Hospital of the West Indies in 1999 with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital as Paediatrician in 2007

Internship at The Kingston Public Hospital, Victoria Jubilee Hospital, and The Bustamante Hospital for Children 1999 - 2000

Worked in the emergency room and paediatric medical ward at The Bustamante Hospital for Children in Jamaica from 2001 - 2004 

Paediatric residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami 2004 - 2007

General paediatric practice in Jamaica 2007 - 2010

General paediatric practice in Cayman 2010 to present



Diplomate of The American Board of Paediatrics and Fellow of The American Academy of Paediatrics.

Founded the Get Active and Get Active Challenge Programs through The Cayman Heart Fund, helping to raise awareness and tackle the problem of childhood obesity on island.

Actively involved with The Children's Health Task Force offering nutritional presentations to daycares and schools. Involved in community educational presentations and career day activities.

Dr. Chen gets great satisfaction from interacting with her little patients and enjoys watching them grow into healthy young adults.
